Choose a farm close to your level. Metins reward exploration; saved hunting progress gives you a predictable route to the supply you need.

Classic level 5–90 Metins have a base 100% random skill-book roll. Outdoor level 30+ Metins also have separate rolls for a Blessing Scroll (25%), bonus changer (5%) and bonus adder (2%).
Base chances at matching levels. High-level farming penalties still apply.A reason to seek them out.
Bestial Captain, Chief Orc, Nine Tails, Queen Spider, Flame King and Death Reaper each have extra base rolls for a Blessing Scroll (100%), bonus changer (25%) and bonus adder (10%).
These rewards supplement existing loot. Combat difficulty is still under review.Keep the progress you earn.
From level 10, 100 eligible hunting kills can earn one chosen skill book or a material reward. Blessing Scrolls become an option at level 30. Each choice spends the same saved progress.
No busy marketplace required for these supplies. Saved progress is capped at 1,000.Base loot chances assume matching levels and no drop bonuses or rare lucky boost. They are separate rolls, not a promise of every reward on every kill. Actual farming pace and equipment balance are still being tested.

- Extract all files before launching. Don't run the game from inside the ZIP.
- The game status is shown at the bottom of this page.
- Keep your existing installation until the new one works. Your characters are saved on the server.

The game cannot connect
Check the game status at the bottom of this page. If Windows Firewall asks about Metin2Distribute.exe, allow it. Make sure you started the game from the extracted folder, not from inside the ZIP, then try again a little later.
A file is missing or has changed
Extract a fresh complete package into a new folder. The package includes a file manifest for checks; no automatic file replacement is enabled.
Windows shows a security warning
Only use the package from this website and compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one under Package details below. If they differ, delete the file and download it again. Never turn off your security software to play.
How do updates work?
Each client release has a version and file checksums. When a new version is announced, download the complete package and extract it into a new folder. There is no automatic patcher yet.
